Peters' Group awarded a DEQ Citizen Monitoring Grant

The Department of Environmental Quality awarded Dr. Peters and student researcher, Nora Terrill, a 2023 Citizen Monitoring Grant to assess stream health in the Catawba Valley. This grant will fund important student research on agricultural impacts on stream biodiversity and allow for multiple educational events on watershed health.
